I think you’re confusing a matriarchy with a society that happens to have a woman as a leader. Patriarchy and matriarchy refer to a kind of social organisation where power is held and passed down through female decent. Egypt was partiarchal, although it had the odd female leader due to circumstance. Hatshepsut, for example, clearly turned to image to th mmasculine to legitimate her power, she is depicted as a man quite often. There are no known societies that are unambiguously matriarchal.
I’m a little puzzled as to why you picked Cleopatra II, she ruled for a very short amount of time and in collaboration with her husband/brother for much of it, in a time period that was very politically unstable. Perhaps you pick her because she is your “dear Cleaopatra II of Egypt” Unless that “my dear” was referring to me, in which case I’d rather you didn’t start using pet names for me!
